SESSION 1 | The Paradigm Shift

Andreas "Boppi" Boppart
National Leader Campus für Christus Switzerland, Author and Speaker
When we talk about the Gospel, we often don’t have much to say. Could it be that we’re only telling parts of the story that don’t really give a complete picture of the Good News? Maybe people just don’t understand what we’re saying? Whenever we shorten the Gospel it becomes one-sided and loses its power. But the Good News that Jesus lived and shared had many dimensions. Society has changed a lot since then, and now we face the challenge of rediscovering the best News ever.

SESSION 2 | The Narrowed Gospel

Alan Hirsch
Author and Founder and Mentor of Various Church Movements
We can’t put God in a box. Dogma and Statements of Faith can never explain God completely.
When we reduce the full scope of Christ down to only one or just a few aspects in an attempt to understand God, and at the same time lose sight of the larger context, God’s living hope becomes one-sided heresy. Alan Hirsch challenges us to broaden our faith horizon.

SESSION 2 | A Gospel for Humanity’s Basic Problems

Michael Girgis
Rector of the Institute for Continuing Education of Church Leaders and Lay People (Switzerland, Austria and Germany) Co-Leader of the Vineyard Church (Bülach, Switzerland), Coach
Michael Girgis describes multiple entry points to God and faith and explains why the Good News is not only meant to apply to us personally but also provides answers to social issues and global challenges.

SESSION 3 | Longings – Gateways (or Entry Points) to God

Franziska Koch
Educator, Leader dimensionX Switzerland
Longings are what drive us through life. They can also be signposts that point us to God. We are called to discover the deep longings of our hearts, things that lie just below the surface in our own hearts and the hearts of those around us.
Franziska Koch takes you on a journey of discovery that looks at different longings that many people have.

SESSION 3 | Longings – Gateways (or Entry Points) to God

Leonardo Iantorno
Head Pastor of the Evangelical Free Church (Rafz, Switzerland), Theologen
The Gospel wants to make an impact where our deepest longings occupy our thoughts, touch our hearts and even take us prisoner.
Leonardo Iantorno shares three concrete examples of how Jesus connected with people in different ways that addressed their longings.

SESSION 4 | The Just Gospel

Lisa Sharon Harper
Founder and President of the Freedom Road Consulting Group, Speaker, Writer, Activist and Author
Lisa Sharon Harper tells the story of God’s «Shalom», His all- encompassing peace followed by the world-changing fracture, and a message of reconciliation that includes everything in Creation. It’s about our relationship with God, our relationships to one another and our relationship to the creation we are a part of. The Good News includes a new type of fellowship, community and social justice. We are challenged to see the image of God in every other person and, as a result, to recognize each one’s dignity and abilities.

SESSION 5 | The Power of Restoration

Pete Greig
Pastor of Emmaus Road Church in Guildford, England
Christ is in Himself the Good News. We see in Him how good God is toward us because Jesus showed us what it really means to be human. Now we have the wonderful opportunity with telling others about this goodness and showing it through our lives.

SESSION 6 | Led by the Holy Spirit

Shaila Visser
Leader of Alpha Canada, Vice Presidentin von Alpha International
The Holy Spirit is the one who connects people with Jesus. Shaila Visser shares a refreshing story about the Holy Spirit as our guide on a journey of transformation - and we are invited to work together with the Spirit.

SESSION 6 | Experiencing Jesus Together

Matthias Langhans
National Leader Campus für Christus Austria
The Gospel of Jesus Christ does not begin at Easter when Christ died for us. Instead it starts at Christmas when God decides to become a human being and live with mankind. What does that mean for us in practical terms? How can we bring others closer to Jesus as we go through daily life?

SESSION 7 | The Sound of Your Life

Martin Schleske
Master Violin Builder and Master’s Degree in Engineering Physics
Martin Schleske takes us on a trip through the mysteries of sound and music. Every type of wood has its own unique tone color - just as each person is a unique creation. In the process, the wood reveals itself to the master builder and allows itself to be played. Find out what your life sounds like.
